FAQs

What type of data is collected?

The data gathered by organisations is based on equality data such as age, gender, race, disability, other protected characteristics and incident types. For anonymous reports, the case reporter is asked why they have chosen that option which gives the organisation further insight as to why they do not want to be identified and what this reveals about the organisation’s culture.

However, the app is fully customisable, and the organisation can decide what data it wants to collect and view in the dashboard. Data can be viewed on a specific date or over a set period to see if there are any trends and is displayed in a range of formats such as graphs, bar charts, pivot table or any other appropriate formats.

Can the app be customised?

The look and feel of the mobile app platform can be fully customised to mirror and reflect your corporate identity. This helps to create a sense of familiarity amongst users because they associate it with your organisation from the moment they use the app.

What support is provided with the service?

We provide demonstration videos and user guides as part of our customer support package. We can also come in and deliver a half-day bespoke training session for all admin users so that you are ready to use Note and Nip it from the Go-Live date.

Our support does not stop once the system goes live. We are always on hand to answer any query you have. You will need to log a query through the incident reporting portal.

How secure is the system?

The system is highly secure and uses the same level of encryption technology used in Banking. The platform offers enterprise-level data security through Amazon Web Services (AWS) which is one of the most secure hosting systems available and is the first choice for many well-known companies, including Netflix, Facebook, and the BBC. Furthermore, the system is GDPR-compliant and Cyber Essentials-certified.

Is the app GDPR compliant?

We are on the controller register for the Information Commissioner’s Office and are fully GDPR compliant.

We get explicit consent from users to gather their information and clearly declare how we intend to use the data in our privacy notice.

App users are given the option of withdrawing consent by opting out of the app and they can delete their account. We fully subscribe to the ‘right to be forgotten’ which means that users can request to have all their data removed from the system at any time.

What does it cost?

Costs are based on the number of people in your organisation and the number of admin users. For more information on pricing speak to one of the Notable HR ® team, who can advise you further.

How can I delete my account?

If you wish you delete your account, you can do so by logging into the app and clicking on the “Delete Account” button in the app menu.

Alternatively, you can send us an email at info@notablehr.co.uk stating your user ID (which is your app login email) along with your name.

Our team will action your request within 14 days of receiving the request.

Please note that once actioned, your account and all associated data will be removed permanently.
